Job Description

Moves material from Warehouse/Staging to assembly/pressing line. Maintains proper balance of materials at the line to ensure a smooth production flow.

Accountabilities:

  • Coordinates and supplies components and bulk to the production line(s) in proper sequence.
  • Verifies WIP (Work In Process) and components for movement to the Production floor.
  • Moves WIP and components to and from the Production floor and Warehouse.
  • Requisitions and scans WIP and components to the assembly line from the Warehouse using MFGO (Manufactured Finished Good Order) to ensure uninterrupted productivity.
  • Prepares requisite paperwork for effective movement of materials.
  • Counts and prepares records of balance for WIP and components for closeout.
  • Follows all safety and good manufacturing practices (GMP’s).
  • Performs various other duties as assigned including assisting with the training of new employees.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent or related experience.
  • Good communication skills and demonstrated knowledge of English, reading and writing.
  • Basic knowledge of arithmetic.
  • Must be able to lift 50lbs.
  • Must pass company physical, written and driving tests (as applicable).
  • Must be able to work overtime as needed, including weekends.
  • Must be available to work all shifts.
  • Must be available to work in all Northtec facilities as needed.

Equipment Used

Hand Jack, RF Unit, Lodi ticket printer, Label printer, PC, Calculator, Tape machine, Scale. May be required to use Transporter.
