Apple is looking for Display Investigation Intern to explore the potential solution of break through display technologies. This individual is responsible for a comprehensive literature review and build a proof of concept prototypes to consolidate the technology solution.

Key Qualifications

Proven track record in the design, simulation, and characterization of optoelectronic devices.
Knowledge and experience of optical modeling/computation preferred.
Knowledge and experience in displays technology strongly preferred, particularly in display optics and electronics.
Hands-on experience/capability to build electronic/optical system.
Excellent project management & communication skills.
Creative mindset
Self-motivated, independent
High attention to detail

Description

Description Build new optical model for display by using ray tracing tool and Matlab. Build proof of concept prototype and support display validation activities. Establish optical/electrical test setup to characterize key components and display panel.

Education & Experience

Education & Experience Pursuing a MS or PhD in Physics, Optics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or similar degree. You are additionally required to return to school after the internship to continue or complete your education, or an internship needs to be required for graduation from your school.

Additional Requirements

Good written and verbal English communication. Ability to balance multiple requests/tests.
