Description:This position is all about the mission! As the Central Depot Operations Manager for Army Training Aids, Devices, Simulators, and Simulations (TADSS) Maintenance Program (ATMP), the selected candidate will be responsible for all of the day-to-day activities at the Central Depot, the main hub of the extensive ATMP supply network.

The Army TADSS Maintenance Program (ATMP) is a seven year Single Award ID/IQ contract for maintenance, sustainment, operations, and support of Army Training Aids, Devices, Simulators, and Simulations (TADSS), Live-Fire Ranges, and Instrumentation Systems. The ATMP portfolio includes ~250,000 live, virtual, constructive, and gaming TADSS located at 422 sites worldwide.
The primary customer is PEO STRI in Orlando, FL. PEO STRI’s published vision for ATMP is integrated, one-stop, world-wide maintenance and sustainment for Army Program of Record (POR) TADSS.

Basic Qualifications:
Lockheed Martin is seeking an operations manager for a position in Louisville, KY. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Directs, coordinates, and exercises functional authority for planning, organizing, control, integration and completion of Depot repair and overhaul operations for CONUS and OCONUS customer sites in a team based environment.
Interface with multiple cross functional organizations to resolve issues or constraints in the support of repair and overhaul operations.
Status, communicate objectives of the day, week and month, assess skill and complexity of tasks, issue work assignments, establish expectations of tasks completion to meet schedule performance goals.
Coordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition or disciplinary actions.
Ensure process integrity to include Safety, Quality, Schedule & Cost which include but are not limited to; creating and managing performance metrics for repair and overhaul, use and disposal of hazardous materials, adherence and use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and clean as you go housekeeping
Support corrective action investigations, root cause analysis, advise on and implement innovations and process improvements, maintain Six Sigma lean processes
Provide inspired leadership for the Central Depot team, making important policy, planning, and strategy decisions while working closely with the Program Management team.
Develop, implement, and review operational policies and procedures across all CONUS and OCONUS customer sites.

Summary of Key Duties for this position:
• Will set priorities, perform forecasting, and allocate the resources needed to complete all Depot repair and overhaul operations
• Coordinate and collaborate with demand planning and sourcing to provide repair parts to support on time repair and overhaul of devices.
• Participate in management efforts to include attending weekly meetings and monthly or quarterly customer briefings as well as internal coordination meetings.
• Responsible for the management and development of their team while assigning daily work assignments, providing technical guidance and mentoring to staff.
• Coordinate and manage employee recruitment, training, regular performance feedback, recognition, and disciplinary actions.

Basic Qualifications: MOST IMPORTANT, CANDIDATE MUST MEET THESE QUALIFICATION
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university. (Management, Production Operations Management, Engineering, etc.) or equivalent experience/combined education. Masters degree preferred.
7+ years of progressive experience and cross-functional knowledge in a logistics and repair and overhaul environment.
Good communication skills, written and oral, including technical writing skills that support leading people in a virtual and matrix organization using Skype, and other media tools to positive outcomes
Good business acumen, ability to understand financial Earned Value data
Continuous Improvement mindset to support strategy implementation, process discipline with focus on efficiency and optimization in repair and overhaul operations
