Description:Engineering Project Manager (EPM) for the Integrated Common Processor (ICP) program which includes both mobile and fixed site components. Responsibilities will include development, integration, test, and certification of the assigned ICP baseline, including identification/correction of Pri 1 and Pri 2 Problem Trouble Reports (PTRs), Factory Acceptance Test Readiness Review planning and execution, Longevity Testing, and Installation Readiness Review/Approval from PMS485. Includes planning and executing installation of the assigned baseline. Required installation products include Base Electronic System Engineering Plan (BESEP) and Site Acceptance Test Plans in accordance with the Government approved Master Test and Evaluation Plan.
The EPM will be responsible for directing the Lockheed Martin team and multiple subcontractors on all aspects of the program. The EPM will be a key participant in technical and programmatic communications with the customer. The EPM will also interface with Technical Operations Engineering Managers to ensure program needs are being staffed and schedules and budgets are accurately being performed against and managed.
Responsibilities include cost, technical, and schedule performance of both LM and partners/subcontractors/vendors. Additional responsibilities includes working with LM Chief Engineer and Program Management to identify and address technical and programmatic issues and supporting proposal efforts within the business area. Project status will be developed and presented in accordance with LM and PMS485 customer business rhythm.
Work will be performed in Manassas, VA.
Security clearance is required.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline with 14 years or more of professional experience; or 12 years of professional experience with a related Master’s degree
- Strong technical background in Systems Engineering/Architecture/Development/Integration
- Current proficient skills in complex software system development and delivery
- Customer and Subcontractor interface experience to perform highly technical problem investigations
- Knowledge and experience with System Installation Planning
- Must have experience with Surveillance, Surface Ship, or Submarine Acoustics Systems (ICP, ARCI, SQQ-89, SWFTS)
- Experience in Engineering and Technology (E&T) processes and familiarity with Logistics, Operations, Quality, Finance, and Contracts
- Strong communication verbal and written skills; comfortable with stand-up presentations

Final Secret Security clearance is required
