Our 10–12-week program as an intern at Comcast will help you cultivate meaningful relationships, develop professional skills, gain insight to the day-to-day operations of a top media and technology company, and receive mentorship opportunities to expand your professional network. Job Description

• Assist in the development and execution of common algorithms and determine analytical approaches and modeling techniques to evaluate potential future outcomes.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate technical ideas and results to non-technical clients in written and verbal form.
• Conduct analyses on vast amounts of data to ensure an accurate understanding of the current state of our organization and communicate these findings clearly to our internal partners
• Apply statistical techniques to model internal behavior and trends to identify potential opportunities for growth and improvement
• Build and test statistical models (both predictive and descriptive) such as network analysis modeling, retention modeling, recommendation engine, etc.
• Are passionate about excellent customer experiences and client success.
• Enjoy innovating and collaborating with others on meaningful projects.
• Strive to achieve results outside the box and exceed expectations.
• Deeply interested in data science challenges in supply and demand optimization and attribution space.
• Strong Python coding skills to develop numerical models.

Core Responsibilities

• Data analytics skills, including the ability to perform basic statistical techniques (e.g., correlation, regression, factor analysis, T-test, ANOVA) and research design experience
• Experience with data visualization tools
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proven to be laser focused with attention to detail
• Able to balance quantitative and qualitative methods to make data-informed recommendations

Basic Requirements:

• Currently enrolled and pursuing a bachelor’s degree from a college or university
• Ability to work 40 hours the entire duration of the program
• Authorized to work in the United States and will not require sponsorship in the future

Base Pay: $30.00

Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Comcast provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work. Most sales positions are eligible for a Commission under the terms of an applicable plan, while most non-sales positions are eligible for a Bonus.
