About the role

As a Solution Architect, you will act as part of a Professional Services team, work productively with Consultants, Product Architects, Project Managers, and other internal & external interfaces to ensure that the customer succeeds in their objectives. You will be responsible for the translation of business requirements into specific process, to align designs for the Siemens DI Software solution based on multi product/multi-industry domain knowledge and best practices.

This position could be based anywhere in Poland, working remotely but visiting our customer sites when required.

Area of responsibility

• Run workshops with the customer for business process requirements gathering, Fit/Gap analysis, solution design/definition, and design reviews
• Prepare, design, and present the analytical outlines for customers’ end to end solutions in relation to their process landscape and requirements
• Provide advice on the problem-solving of strategic technical issues through to resolution, providing considered consultancy and viable solutions to the customer
• Map business processes for projects and analyses gaps for improvement and support projects with business process mapping
• Ensure that business requirements are effectively translated into detailed functional and non-functional specifications from which appropriate systems can be implemented, documenting these in accordance with methods and practices, using accepted methodologies and available Siemens Solution repositories
• Coordinate engagement with the business during user acceptance testing to ensure that the final service meets the requirements of the business
• Integrate Siemens PLM functionality with external business processes and software, when defining strategic solutions
• Configure key PLM software solutions (Teamcenter / CAD / Integration components ) on site with our customers or remotely

Your qualifications

• Proven experience as Solution Architect or in leading enterprise software projects on PLM or MOM platforms (Teamcenter, Windchill, Enovia)
• Experience in the technical leadership of large software implementation projects
• Demonstrated knowledge of industry standard methodologies regarding PLM (product lifecycle management)
• Experience in enterprise IT projects to large enterprises, ideally related to one or more of the following industries: Automotive, Aerospace and Defense, Energy, Machinery, Consumer and Marine
• Experience in the Manufacturing domain would be preferable
• Proficient in English and Polish
• Ability to identify problems, generate solutions and choose appropriate alternatives using basic root cause analysis
• Available to travel across Poland to client sites when required
