Come work with multidisciplinary engineers focused on delivering world class Manufacturing Tooling for the Mechanical Ground Support Equipment (MGSE) Organization. You will be responsible for the design solutions that support the Organization. As an Engineering Leader, you will work with a diverse work force responsible for the development, design, fabrication, test, and delivery of Manufacturing Tooling. Job responsibilities include:
- Manage Remote Sensing Manufacturing Tooling Projects
- Lead day-to-day activities of an engineering team to design, develop, and support Manufacturing Tooling efforts
- Review, check and approve all engineering drawings and monitoring the existing equipment
- Coordinate the administrative and personnel needs of the organization including performance monitoring and reviews, career development, training and development and succession planning
- Lead all aspects of staffing, resource allocation, tracking progress, preparation and maintenance of technical and process expertise within the organization
- Support program and LOB proposal activities
The ideal candidate will have good communications skills (both oral and written), able to mentor and develop subordinates, and have a strong background in manufacturing and Assembly, Test, and Launch Operations (ATLO) environments and processes. A willingness to travel is required.

Basic Qualifications:
- Experience in development of Manufacturing Tooling /Mechanical Ground Support Equipment (MGSE) for the manufacture, integration, test and transport of high value hardware
- Proven ability to lead and work in a collaborative manner to arrive at solutions that support the objectives of the organization and customer
- Demonstrated ability to plan, propose and manage budgets and schedules
- Demonstrated ability to develop, maintain and leverage effective Customer, Program and Central relationships
- Success working in an environment with evolving requirements and dynamic schedules
- Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to drive hardware design and production activities
- Ability to travel
- TS needed with ability to obtain TS/SCI w Poly
Desired Skills:
- Experienced or trained in Cost Account Management (CAM)
- Demonstrated commitment to the development of others; ability to lead, motivate and cultivate a highly motivated workforce
- Demonstrated commitment to development and deployment of productivity/performance improvements, leveraging new technologies and leading change
- Familiarity with engineering tools (Creo, EPDM...)
- Experience with Microsoft Project
- Familiar with Lockheed Martin specifications/tools/processes
- Certified LM-21 green belt
- Familiar with industry standards and federal regulations including ANSI, OSHA, and AWS standards
- Knowledge of AMSE Y14.5, including Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T)
