The production facilities in Florence, KY and Queretaro, MX manufacture and administer products for the NAFTA region.

Job Description

Engineering Product Quality (EPQ) safeguards product quality by ensuring planning, application and reporting of preventive quality assurance measures, during the product development phase. EPQ will coach the project team towards achieving effective and efficient performance of QA measures. EPQ will be the review partner for Project Manager and the project team in Q-topics. Additionally, EPQ will be responsible for evaluating and reporting risks and support escalation (if necessary) with reference to product quality.

  • Provide leadership for quality activities in assigned project(s)
  • Partner with the Project Managers to create and execute a project specific quality assurance plan, which includes defining realistic objective and empowering the team to achieve them
  • Setup Quality Reporting and perform escalation of risks as necessary in the organization
  • Provide independent evaluation and approval/disapproval of product release documents (e.g. sample release, road releases)
  • Support customer communication for quality topics during product development
  • Coordinate with global quality team to align activities in the product development phase (PEP)
  • Conduct lessons learned reviews and solicit LL from previous or similar products and apply to future product quality strategies
  • Coordinate and Moderate QG reviews (QGCs, QGPs, SW QGs)
  • Verify application of RB/GF 182 (e.g. ProCodex, Requirements Engineering, update of PEP/procedures) in assigned project
  • Provide information and training to team members with regard to new regulations or guidelines
  • Understand, evaluate, negotiate (when applicable) customer specific requirements related to Quality during development

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in engineering
  • 5+ years of industry experience with 2 years in the domain of Engineering - Quality

Preferred:

  • Mechanical, Electrical, or Software Engineering
  • Hand-on ASPICE knowledge preferred
