Job Description

WORK SCHEDULE: 40 hours per week, M-F (9:00am – 5:00pm)

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field plus five (5) years of experience in the offered position or a related occupation. Alternatively, employer will accept a master’s degree plus two (2) years of experience. Any suitable combination of education, training or experience is acceptable. Two (2) years of experience must include: Designing and developing audit approaches to mitigate financial statement risks based on U.S. GAAS for private entities and PCAOB auditing standards for SEC registrants; Performing audit procedures in accordance with PCAOB auditing standards; Performing financial statement audits of SEC registrants and private companies in accordance with U.S. GAAP; Evaluating the effectiveness of internal controls over financial reporting in accordance with COSO framework for companies subject to the requirements of SOX Section 404; Reviewing SEC filings and researching technical accounting issues.

LICENSE REQUIREMENT: CPA License required.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: Up to 10% domestic travel to various locations per business need.
