Lockheed Martin Aeronautics in Marietta, Georgia, is seeking a full-time Early Career Flight Test Engineer / Flight Test Discipline Engineer. In this role, you will develop test plans, execute test procedures and report on results from testing conducted in laboratory and aircraft ground and flight environments. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of avionics systems and test procedure development. Must be a US Citizen. This position will require a government security clearance (not required to start). This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelors’ degree in Electrical or Aerospace Engineering from an accredited college.
• Ability for frequent travel.
• Willingness and capability to fly onboard aircraft and pass an equivalent FAA class 3 medical exam is MANDATORY.
• Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a
government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires
special access.
Desired Skills:
• Experience with aircraft systems.
• Experience/familiarization with military aircraft.
• Experience with planning, execution, data analysis and reporting of testing.
• Microsoft Office.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
