We are seeking a Manufacturing Support Team Member Sr. at our New Orleans, LA site.
This position will be responsible for:
• Performing Bill of Material (BOM) planning activities with Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) transactions. Will include, but not be limited to Michoud site specific overhead materials, small tools, and consumables that are required to support the Production Operations Service Center activities and all Michoud programs.
• Responsible for maintaining the integrity of the production systems and optimizing overhead material inventory resulting in potential cost minimization.
•Expedites material flow through the supply chain to meet Michoud Program requirements.
• Coordinates with Supply Chain Stakeholders, including Procurement and Operations Management to determine appropriate time phased plans for procured overhead materials and executes processes to ensure deliverables meet Michoud Program production schedule requirements.
• Performs as property coordinator for Michoud program and Lockheed Martin owned equipment with respect to location/usage, calibration, disposition, and transfer.
• Maintains property accountability and interfaces with internal and external customers for accuracy.
• Coordinates Michoud overhead material crib activities in support of all Michoud programs.
• Supports receiving functions and receipt of materials using SAP (Systems Applications and Products) for all LM Michoud programs.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 4 years of professional experience; or 2 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree.
Candidate must have shop control / floor support experience as well as experience in the coordination of calibrated equipment, supply crib, and/or property management.
Inventory Management (Stock Room) Experience.
Familiarity with SAP (Systems Applications and Products), PBS, MET NET (Metrology network), T.E.A.M. (Test Equipment Asset Management) software systems, MS Excel or equivalent is required.
Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance; must be a US Citizen.
Desired Skills:
Experience with Lockheed Martin Space Systems command media and systems.
