As a Systems Administrator you will:
• Maintain and upgrade, when applicable, to a classified system infrastructure in a lab environment.
• Monitor and correct system performance issues.
• Monitor, plan, and implement system patching and operating system software upgrades.
• Assist the Information Assurance (IA) team with account management and system vulnerability management, and implement fixes via group policy.
• Deploy software/hardware deliveries, supports special projects, and offer an assistance to operational crews and contractor teams to resolve system issues.
• Meticulously records problem statements and creates appropriate reports.
Typically has 5 - 10 years of professional experience.

Experience with standard system administration tasks
- Windows and Active Directory configuration experience
- Experience in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Project)
- Ability to work in a production/operational environment
- System Administrators are required to Comply with DOD 8570. If this is fulfilled by CompTIA Security+, it must be current (within 3 years) within 90 days of assignment
Desired Skills:- Active TS/SCI
- Red Hat/Linux administration experience
- Experience with virtualized operating system concepts and administration
- Experience with storage solutions (NAS, etc...)
- Experience with documentation updates
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, collaborative team environment
-Demonstrated ability to build consensus among peers and build effective relationships with team members
- Strong Troubleshooting skills
- Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Information Assurance (IA) hardening and compliance, i.e. STIG & DSS compliance, documentation, etc.
