Posted: Oct 18, 2022 Weekly Hours: 40 Role Number: 200431550 We are looking for an experienced and motivated Software Engineer to join the Apple Cloud Engineering team! We build and seamlessly integrate technologies that enrich people’s lives. You will join a diverse team of people who are passionate about developing new technologies and services for our customers. You will be collaborating with many different teams within Apple to further improve the quality of our products. In this role you will be responsible for development of frontend / UI tools utilized by application developers, support teams and executives. This includes development and delivery of web applications, dashboards, automated workflows, integration across multiple tools and interaction with multiple data sources.

Key Qualifications

• Professional experience building responsive, user friendly web applications
• Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks (Ex. ReactJS, NodeJS)
• Proficiency in CSS pre-processing platforms
• Strong understanding of cross-browser compatibility
• Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use
• Strong understanding of approaches to optimize application for maximum performance and scalability
• Experience in REST API design and implementation
• Ability to improve existing codebases using best practices
• Ability to work on multi-faceted, cross-functional projects
• Ability to collaborate effectively with teams located in different geographies

Description Hands-on design and development of various front-end data services Delivering a product in a rapid and dynamic environment Quickly build new ideas to get early user feedback. Collaboration with peers on technical design, work estimation and implementation of new UI features Working with project managers and technical teams, in a multi-functional environment, to implement quality products that meet the business goals. Troubleshooting system issues, providing quick and thorough solutions.

Education & Experience Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field / equivalent experience
