Description:We are seeking a Systems Integration and Test Engineer to support a broad set of tasks supporting legacy and New Development missile programs in the Integration Test and Evaluation Organization. This position’s primary role is to support Flight test activities performing FTS certifications, SIL Tests, Van Tests, Pre-Flight Certification Tests, and supporting Jettison Tests, Separation Tests, and Live Fire Flight Tests.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in aircraft integration and flight test of missile systems, defining TM parameters, processing and analyzing TM data for post flight analysis of missile performance.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 5 years of professional experience; or 3 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree.
-Effective task organization and communication skills.
-Demonstrated experience in integration & test including previous system test development and hardware/firmware/software integration experience
-Experience in systems development, integration, verification, and production.
-Experience in technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, and formal system development/certification experience.
Desired Skills:
• C++ 11 or later, Ada 95
• Missile Flight Test experience with Flight Termination Systems (FTS) and Test Instrumentation Kits (TIK)
• Missile Launch sequence and control
• MIL-STD 1553 interface
• Mission Data Transfer
• Universal Armament Interface (UAI)
• Missile OFP Development
• Familiarity with testing and problem solving for integrated systems
• Experience designing, testing and debugging complex software applications with many interdependencies and interfaces
• Control Room experience reviewing real time TM during Flight Test
