Job Description

What are you going to do as a dual track student?

During your internship you will be part of our mechanical department in Eindhoven which is responsible for translating commercial, functional and design specifications into technical concepts. Furthermore, developing mechanical designs which safeguard functionality, performance, quality, reliability and manufacturability of our cameras.

As a dual track student you will be working part-time 24h-36h at Bosch while finishing your studies. You will get to learn and work at the same time. Bosch offers the opportunity to immediately put into practice what has been learned. As a dual track Mechatronic student you will be working on:

• Designing of control systems for motors (Stepper / DC) in conjunction with feedback sensors;
• Automation of existing test setups;
• Supporting innovation activities by performing literature study and designing prototypes for testing;
• Supporting benchmarking activities for latest technologies used in security cameras and performing market studies to find the suitable comparison metrics;
• Supporting hardware tests on R&D products.

Qualifications

Need to have:

• You are following a (dual / part-time) HBO Bachelors or would like to start such a study in the field of Mechatronic, Mechanical Enginering or similar;
• You have basic knowledge of Programming and Control system design;
• Experience working with Arduino or similar prototyping platforms;
• You have knowledge of 3D CAD software;
• You are proficient in English;
• You have excellent analytical skills: and have an eye for detail;
• You have experience or are familiar with: MS-Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, etc.);

Nice to have:

• Personality : You are proactive, creative, can work well independently and take responsibility in your tasks and projects;
• You have strong communication skills.
