This is your role. What part will you play?

It’s a newly created 18-months contract role in our P&O Organisation for a highly motivated and proactive BP to lead and support the delivery our people agenda. With a primary focus on supporting project ramp up activities, organisational design, coaching and providing best practice advice to the leaders of the business, you are comfortable working in the grey and using your sound Industrial Relations and Employees Relations toolkit to support a newly created business segment.

Under the leadership of Country P&O Head, you will:

  • Drive the People strategy, country plan and guidelines within your client group
  • Align the P&O activities with the business requirements
  • Coach and advise managers on all people related matters
  • Support managers to build organisational capability required to execute business plans via organisational design, talent mapping and succession planning
  • Acts as a key interface with employees, management and unions as necessary
  • Implement and maintain data integrity within the business
  • Acts as key interface to Head of P&O
  • Lead Industrial Relations (IR) and Employees Relations (ER) issues

Use your skills to move the world forward.

  • You are well versed and experienced in IR/ER related matters
  • Previous experience in Transport, Construction, or related industries would be an advantage
  • Ideally you will have worked in a fast-paced project environment and dealt with complexity in a matrix organisation
  • Demonstrated in-depth knowledge of Australian labour laws which have been applied and practised
  • Data and analytics are your thing and you thrive in environments where you are trusted and empowered to make a difference
  • Tertiary education in Business, Human Resources, Psychology, or related disciplines
