Description:Join the Mission! The 1LMX program is looking for talented individuals to join our dynamic and fast-paced team. Help make a difference as we transform Lockheed Martin businesses using the latest SAP S/4HANA ERP systems to drive to a common set of streamlined processes and deliver results for our customers.
This business analyst role will be a key design point of contact working to ensure system capabilities for general ledger and accounting process requirements support internal and external reporting leveraging their SAP experience and knowledge to help design and configure the system.
We are looking for specific knowledge in the following process areas accounting and general ledger process domain knowledge; AD Financial reporting requirements ; Cost accounting ; general ledger closing and financial analysis.
The selected candidate will work with our Business Area representatives and our Enterprise IT organization to further detail and align Lockheed Martin business process steps to SAP S/4 functions and associated software. This includes identifying and documenting gaps to standard capabilities along with supporting product evaluations for SAP partner products. This role will join the team during our detailed design phase and continue into the software build /development and deployment phases.
In addition, the candidate will collaborates across multiple technology teams (Automation, Systems Engineering, Data Analytics) to accomplish goals with appropriate partnerships with counterparts (Developers, Analysts, Architects, External Partners)
Basic Qualifications:
Key design point of contact for the Record to Report value stream
Experience working general ledger and financial close processes, financial reporting, financial consolidations
Responsible for system design and configuration for assigned Record to Report processes including integration with other process teams (Procure to Pay, Order to Cash, etc.)
Bring in-depth knowledge of requested IT ERP capabilities.
Validate and document high-level functional designs.
Clearly document and estimate all required configurations and identified gaps for a process, including specific technologies and products required
Collaborate in prototyping of solutions within their assigned team
Provide assessment of relevant SAP best practices for workshop review
Defines technical integration points / interfaces to external systems
Manage and escalate risks in regards to application design needed to meet business requirements
Ensure effective completion of detail design deliverables to ensure a successful transition into the build phase
Leverage Scaled Agile to plan and manage work
Communicate to other IT team members as appropriate.
Desired Skills:
• Experience with or certification in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, etc.).
• Experience with desktop, collaboration and enterprise tools such as
- Confluence, Jira, Microsoft Office suite, Solution Manager, Box, Slack
• In-depth domain knowledge in the SAP ERP scope for the value stream sub process they are assigned
• Experience in SAP ECC system configurations and integrations with related components, knowledgeable in data dictionary and functions that support assigned sub process
