Description:Xcelerator Product Manager - Level 5

As a key member of the Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Digital Transformation organization, the Xcelerator (XVE) Product Manager is a servant leader responsible for managing the development of new products and capabilities. The Product Manager owns the release train capability backlog and is responsible for defining the Features, Program Increments (PIs), and Releases associated with the delivery of new capability within the Siemens Xcelerator suite of products. They work closely with Product Owners and other agile team members to ensure that each new product and capability meets customer needs and is delivered in a timely fashion. The XVE Product Manager works closely with the Saber Solution Train, to align the work in the Xcelerator digital thread ecosystem. This highly visible role will require strengths in communication, leadership, problem-solving, research, systems integration, and time management to guide and align the many teams within the XVE Agile Release Train (ART) toward aligned outcomes.
Working in a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) environment, the Product Manager will have the following responsibilities:
• Understanding customer needs – You will be the internal voice of the Functional/Program Customers within the ART
• Reviewing customer feedback and data to determine potential improvements to products or processes
• Communicating with stakeholders throughout the organization to ensure they have the information they need to make decisions
• Defining and communicating, specific features and capabilities to the ART, to be completed within a PI, focusing on those capabilities that involve multiple Agile teams
• Communicating the status of the PI at the ART level to the solution train and leadership throughout the PI
• Ensuring that Product level risks and issues are documented and addressed
• Working with agile teams to gather requirements for new features, capabilities, and products
• Working with the Solution Train to define “complete” and “acceptable”
• Providing input on the Solution vision and roadmap. Define and continuously refine the backlog, roadmap, and vision.
• Within the context of the Solution train priorities, you will manage and prioritize the flow of work in the backlog, ensuring enough features are ready in the backlog at all times.
• Be an active participant and leader within PI Planning and Pre-PI Planning Events
• Work with System Architect/Engineering to understand technical scope of work required to allow for appropriate sequencing of work
• Working with the Product Owners and other stakeholders ensure that training, documentation, change management, and other communication associated with new capability deployments has occurred as needed
• Participate in and lead as required, demos and Inspect and Adapt (I&A) events.

Basic Qualifications:
• Experience working in an Agile/SAFe environment
• Proven experience working across functions and Programs to deliver results
Desired Skills:
• Certified in SAFe a plus
• Experience as a Solution Train Engineer, Release Train Engineer, Solution Train Manager, or Product Owner/Product Manager desired
• Experience leading complex IT Systems Integration efforts
• Business Process Reengineering experience desired
• Experience managing across organizational boundaries
• Experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) Systems, Manufacturing Engineering Systems (MES), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Systems
• Experience working with Siemens Xcelerator platform a plus
• Strong Business Analysis Skillset
• Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate effectively to executives as well as to teams and individual contributors
