About the role:

The Neuromuscular HCP Marketing Manager role is an excellent opportunity to shape and enhance Takeda's presence in peripheral neuromuscular conditions to elevate the standard of care and change patients' lives. Peripheral neuropathies result from damage to the nerves outside the brain and spinal cord (peripheral nerves). Symptoms are weakness, numbness, and pain, usually in the hands and feet. These conditions are underdiagnosed, and in some cases, patients' symptoms progress, causing serious imparity. Immunoglobulins represent the standard of care to treat these conditions. Takeda is the leader in MMN (Multifocal Motor Neuropathy) and is preparing to increase its presence in Neuromuscular by broadening its portfolio and indications.

You will have the exciting opportunity to shape the portfolio label expansion and be part of the launch preparation. You will lead the development of marketing activities and promotional programs for the Neuromuscular portfolio, including an intravenous and a subcutaneous product.

You will play an important role in ensuring constant alignment and collaboration with the Neuromuscular sales team to execute key tactics and activities and to coordinate Takeda's presence at major Congresses.

This role requires someone with good project management skills, attention to detail, and an agile response to change. To succeed in this role, you have good communication skills, a collaborative approach, willingness, and perseverance to successfully take all projects to the end stage. You will report to the Associate Director, Rare Autoimmune Disorders Marketing Lead.

How you will contribute:

  • Develop HCP marketing tactics and brand communications, including peer-to-peer programming
  • Collaborate cross-functionally (collaborating with Medical, Managed Markets, US PDT Institution Marketing Team, Strategy and Insights, Advocacy)
  • Manage Congress participation (e.g., AANEM, AAN, IgNS), including cross-functional congress planning, booth design, and execution of commercial tactics, sponsorships, and events
  • Collaborate with Training and Sales Force Effectiveness to ensure field sales training/onboarding and execution of marketing tactics and programs.
  • Lead marketer to work with the Neuromuscular TBMs as the main point of reference
  • Develop HCP branded materials and approval through PRT (Promotional Review Team), collaborating with Regulatory, Legal and Compliance
  • Collaborate with external partners and agencies
  • Manage assigned promotional budget and expenses tracker

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

  • BS/BA required. Advanced degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in healthcare pharmaceutical industry required, marketing/field sales/field sales training preferred.
  • Pharmaceutical Sales, Sales Force Effectiveness, and/or Sales Training experience preferred
  • Rare disease experience preferred
  • Experience in representing the commercial perspective during the regulatory/legal review of launch promotional materials preferred
  • Comprehensive understanding of the US Healthcare system and distribution channels
  • Understanding of specialty pharmacies activity and dynamics

  • Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the literature, disease state, competitive landscape, and therapeutic management of the category
  • Leverage data and analytics to distill insights and drive data-based decision making
  • Execute multiple, simultaneous projects and manage resources to ensure deliverables are on time, on budget, and answer business objectives
  • Manage external partners to ensure integration and consistency of strategies, messages, and tactics
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and have strong problem-solving skills
  • Experience in marketing strategy and tactic design with an ability to communicate ideas to internal partners and external agencies, ability to communicate (verbally/written) at the executive level
  • Travel up to 25% including weekends (during conferences/congresses). Attend internal meetings, conferences, and customer visits as needed, including overnight travel
