Role Description

Would you like to know how we help our customers to reimagine how they operate their business to connect their people, secure their organization, and automate their processes to accelerate digital agility in a cloud-first world? Welcome ! This internship provides you with the unique opportunity to get the full Cisco experience in a nutshell.

For two weeks you will become familiar with Cisco as a company, its culture and people , and you will gain insights into the role of a Systems Engineer (SE). A systems engineer is our technical sales professional provid ing technical consulting and guidance to our top customers . Our c ustomers are experiencing a significant transformation through changing business environments, high pressure to respond more agile and simplify operations with more automation. Our SEs recommend and develop appropriate customer solution offerings which comprise cross-technological components.

Who You’ll Work With

During th e two weeks , you will be working together with various Systems Engineers. You will have the opportunity to engage with dual study students and build a network with high - profile IT ambassadors. With us, you’ll get to know new technologies and solutions for the growing world of IT.

What You’ll Do

• Develop and build relationships with technical decision makers
• Provide technical, consultative, and architectural support
• Get some experiences in programming
• Together with the Account Team, you will develop and manage the technical account plan
• Understand and position relevant cross-technology uses cases at our strategic customers such as Collaboration, Networking, Data Center and Security
• Adopt the concept of continuous learning and stay up-to-date on Cisco solutions, products and services
• Build relationships within Cisco
• Learn more about the Sustainability initiatives within Cisco

• You can communicate in and understand German and English (written and verbal ; technical vocabulary is not expected)
• Technical experience is a plus
