Job Description

We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our People & Culture team and help us discover great talent such as yourself! If you have solid networking skills, know how to source on social media and enjoy learning about different roles, we’d love to meet you.

While every day will be different, your primary focus will be using various channels to look for potential candidates, contacting passive candidates and building talent pipelines for future hiring needs.

What you'll be doing:

  • Coordinate with hiring managers to determine position and talent profile requirements.
  • Contact and engage passive candidates, building strong relationships, in a highly competitive market for immediate opportunities and to build a strong virtual bench of talent for future potential opportunities.
  • Continually source for and interact with potential candidates deploying multiple modalities (LinkedIn Recruiter, professional networks, and other creative social media venues and techniques).
  • Develop and master your written pitch to prospective candidates, ensuring alignment with our company messaging.
  • Inclusively seeks diverse external talent through formal and informal networks. Connector of talent across geographies and business lines.
  • Work closely with other members of the People & Culture team and Hiring Leaders to clearly comprehend technical requirements for each role.
  • Qualify candidates for technical, product and cultural fit.
  • Masterfully manage your time as you organize and conduct on-line (and if restrictions allow, in-person) interviews, deploying speed and efficiency to optimize momentum.
  • Set-up candidate interviews with Hiring Managers, encouraging speed with availability and decision-making.
  • Support hiring leaders with preparation of interview questions and providing proactive coaching to those who are new to interviewing.
  • Measure and record conversion rates.
  • Strive to send the targeted number of weekly messages to prospective candidates.
  • Strive to drive the targeted number of candidates into our hiring pipeline each week.
  • Gather market data on conditions or trends that may impact on our ability to find and hire the right talent.
  • Submit weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports on your sourcing efforts.
  • Draft job postings and job-set up in Greenhouse (ATS).
  • Generate offer letters and candidate offer emails.
  • Maintain a world-class candidate experience by being timely with responses.
  • Recommend opportunities for improvement in the talent acquisition process, initiating wherever possible, and updating resources and how-to guides and documents.

What you bring:

  • Proven work experience as a Talent Discoverer or similar, ideally within a fast-paced and high-growth technology sector company.
  • You love to network, you get a thrill of inspiring people to join us, you enjoy learning about different roles.
  • You anticipate candidate and hiring manager’s needs and questions and proactively prepare in advance.
  • Your communication style is clear and engaging, leaving no doubts for the candidate nor the hiring leader.
  • You are driven by curiosity and are not shy of asking ‘why’.
  • You have hands-on experience using MS Outlook, Word, Excel, Google Drive, Slack and are quick to compile, respond and manage your time efficiently.
  • You have hands-on experience with multiple sourcing techniques, most notably with LinkedIn Recruiter.
  • Solid experience using an industry-standard applicant tracking system (we use Greenhouse) and HR databases (we use Bamboo HR).
  • Finally – you exude love for what you do and demonstrate a keen interest in our business and our people, wanting to make perfect talent matches!
