This role will start in Summer 2023 .
This role will be based in London .
We encourage our employees to be in the office as much as possible and maintain a flexible hybrid approach. We'd love to see everyone in the office around 3 times a week, if not more, if that suits your personal preferences.

As a Sales Development Representative at Appian, you'll make initial contact with potential clients and educate them on the impact Appian can have on their organization. You'll proactively schedule sales meetings through cold calling and marketing initiatives. SDRs execute lead generation initiatives to increase attendance at upcoming field marketing events and trade shows and partner with Account Executives to create customized account plans and strategies to support sales cycles

“The SDR role is a busy, exciting, rewarding and testing role. You have to be able to manage your own time and be self motivated. We each have our own targets to reach and we work with our Account Executives to build a strategy around who to reach out to and where to find them. It’s our job to do the initial outreach to potential Appian clients, so we receive thorough training on the product itself as we need to know it inside and out to sell it and all its many benefits to different clients. I’d say for someone to excel in this role you have to have your own personal drive and be dedicated to succeeding for yourself, the business and your team. I’d also say an interest in the technology space is absolutely key, we love it when someone's genuine passion shows through!
The role is challenging but when you see a client finally partner with Appian and see the success that brings them as a business it is hugely rewarding.”
