Then come and join our global team as Global Marine & Technical Insurances Manager (f/m/d) to be instrumental in developing the Insurable Risk Management function for Siemens Healthineers.

Choose the best place for your work – Within the scope of this position, it is possible, in consultation with your manager, to work mobile (within Germany) up to an average volume of 60% of the respective working hours.

The position can be filled in Erlangen, Frimley or Mailand.

Your tasks and responsibilities:

• In this role, you will drive the development and implementation of the organizational and functional Insurable Risk Management within the Treasury unit and take on project management responsibility
• You will carry out systematic and efficient risk identification and assessment worldwide for the insurable marine/ transport and technical risks as well as define the corresponding risk profile
• You will be in charge for ensuring an efficient risk financing strategy in the marine and technical insurance lines. This will involve defining the scope of coverage, tailormade to our insurable exposure and assuming responsibility for negotiating additional coverage
• You will be responsible for the internal insurable risk advisory in the marine and technical insurance lines and for the related loss management, including the facilitation between insurers and external service providers
• You will also be responsible for the implementation of an efficient premium allocation and invoicing process across the insurance lines
• Furthermore, you will support the implementation of the digitalization strategy and will be responsible for the worldwide reporting of our insurance data

Your qualifications and experience:

• You have a degree in engineering or economics, specializing in insurance or risk, ideally combined with a professional insurance qualification
• You have many years of professional experience in commercial insurance, as an commercial insurance broker or on the corporate client side in the marine and technical insurance lines, ideally gained with multiple companies
• You have extensive experience with structured risk identification and the analysis of complex marine and technical insurance risks and understand how to systematically create an efficient risk financing concept for such risks
• In addition, you have already been able to gain experience of project management within tight schedules and have taken on project responsibility
• You are familiar with digital technology and find it easy to get to grips with new tool environments

Your attributes and skills:

• You have the necessary business fluency in written and spoken English to communicate smoothly with service providers and colleagues in your own country and internationally. A knowledge of German would be an advantage
• You take responsibility for your own actions, always with a focus on commercial success
• Your personal skills include a pronounced curiosity, a strong desire to shape the course of developments and the ability to deliver. You also have excellent analytical and conceptual design skills
• You are able to think processes through end-to-end, generate corresponding conceptual designs and put them into practice
