Job Description

Our project industrializes a PowerTool use case which integrates machine learning (ML) into an existing tool.

• During your internship you will support the team's data engineers in developing, setting up and maintaining the project pipelines and have the possibility to drive various infrastructure topics.
• You will work on data pipelines for structured field data and lab data, as well as un-structured historical lab data for supervised and un-supervised ML.
• In order to continuously integrate and deploy code and ML models you will work on CI/CD pipelines.
• You will interact with databases (SQL and MongoDB) and web-apps (analytics, dashboarding, labeling) and work on Microsoft Azure and GitHub. You will also review codes written by others for critical feedback.
• In addition you will collaborate with domain experts and engineering teams. You will share knowledge by clearly articulating results and ideas in project meetings.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor studies in the field of computer science, mathematics, physics or comparable with strong background in coding and data handling
• Personality and Working Practice: very analytical and problem-solving, remote experienced, independent, motivated, goal-oriented and pro-active
• Experience and Know-how: of programming and scripting languages (Python, shell) and cloud environments (e.g. Microsoft Azure); excellent communication and documentation skills
• Enthusiasm: keen to learn new technologies and share knowledge
• Languages: fluent in English
