Job Description

• You develop the next-generation software systems in diverse domains such as consumer electronics, eBike systems, automotive systems, IoT products, digitalization solutions, etc.
• Your task includes to work within a cross-functional and dynamic team in important projects for Bosch. You have the opportunity to change between projects and domains to extend your horizons.
• The development of complex embedded software functions and components for diverse systems, applications and technology environments is one of your tasks.
• You analyze the requirements for complex functions, design new concepts and develop the software components following state-of-the-art methods of the software engineering in alignment with the software architecture and technical specifications.
• Furthermore, you contribute to the development of requirements, architecture and test plans.

Qualifications

• Education: completed university studies (bachelor's degree/diploma/PhD) in computer science or a comparable subject
• Personality and Working Practice: reliable, self-motivated, dynamic, adaptive, future-oriented, creative, team player
• Experience and Knowledge: experience in the software development, understanding of software engineering and testing methods, experience with state-of-the-art development tools with focus on embedded software in C/C++ on Microcontrollers such as ARM Cortex-Mx and with RTOS such as FreeRTOS, experience in modern software version control and continuous integration,
• Qualifications: programming skills in various languages, e.g. C/C++, Java or Python, familiar with classical and agile software engineering practices
• Enthusiasm: passion for software
• Languages: good communication skills in written and spoken English, German language is appreciated

This position can be occupied at any of the locations Reutlingen or Stuttgart.
Remote Work is possible, though presence on-side is frequently required.
