The Director, Cloud Business Office (CBO) is a senior-level role that will be joining the buildout of organizational-wide Cloud Center of Excellence. This organization will play a pivotal role is guiding and driving a polycloud strategy across ADP's business units and will help uplevel our people and systems to ensure our success in the market. This role will be responsible for leading a cross-functional team of experts who will drive cloud strategy within ADP, responsible for designing and delivering a holistic platform of incorporated tools that ensure a high degree of enterprise maturity in the cloud. This role will partner with numerous other service organizations to build an ecosystem of developer enablement withing our Developer Experience (DevEx) organization.

No two days are the same. The CBO will play a pivotal role in the Cloud CoE, providing tooling, frameworks, and advice for a community of developers and engineers spread across the globe. You will dig into massive datasets to build hypothesis, action plans, and execution strategies for increasing ADP's return on investment in our technology.

What you’ll do:

This is an opportunity to be in the driver seat and help ADP launch the next phase of their cloud journey. The CCoE will oversee and govern ADP’s product migrations to align with cloud strategy and architectural blueprints for automation, security and resiliency. You will have the opportunity to assemble a talented team and drive the execution of next generation cloud adoption and best practices.

While no one fits all the qualities of a job description, these are the experiences that are good indicators you may be a good fit for this role:

• 7-10 years of experience leading engineering or product organizations.
• Deep understanding of public and private clouds: AWS, Azure, Openstack.
• Cost analysis, system utilization, and forecasting tools.
• Comprehensive management experience in running enterprise production systems.
• Understanding of the modern application design landscape, tooling, and best practices.
• Exposure to troubleshooting & performance management of large, distributed systems.
• Presence in open-source communities through events, articles, or conferences.
• Subject matter expertise is observability, security, and automation for infrastructure and application software.
• Awareness of best practices for highly resilient system design.
