The Team

The Analytics & Business Intelligence (ABI) department based in Amsterdam is a designated group of AA& BI professionals with the time and collective know how to:

• Maximize the company’s AA& BI investments;
• Map out Business Intelligence Strategies and drive Advanced Analytics

The ABI department has been established to consolidate the efforts in the area of developing Advanced Analytics & Business Intelligence under one roof to create more focused and powerful business insights and business benefits and is supporting and advising the sales organisations and product divisions on:

• Generating standard reporting on key performance indicators for the business
• Creating insights through analytics on sales & distribution, inventory, supply chain and product development data
• Master data policies, governance, standards and monitoring tools

The ABI department has functional teams in the area of (i) Business Partnering, (ii) Report Engineering, (iii) Data Science, (iv) Back-End Development, (v) Integrated Business Planning (vi)Data Governance and (vii) Support who work together in an agile project organization.

The Position

PVH is looking for 2 Integrated Business Planning developers to join the Analytics & BI team. You will be working with our business partners from Supply chain departments in the implementation of the PVH vision 2025 Supply planning strategy using 3rd party planning tools / vendors namely Blue Yonder. Or you will be working with our business partners from Omnichannel in the implementation of the PVH vision 2025 merchandizing planning strategy using 3rd party planning tools / vendors. If you are passionate about bringing efficiency, transparency, automation and forecast accuracy in planning processes, this is a perfect role for you. You will be the key developer in this multi-year strategic initiative and become part of a dynamic, multicultural and inclusive team.

Overview of essential responsibilities:

• Understanding the planning processes, submission timelines, user groups, planning and data architecture
• Data & information analysis, translation of planning requirements towards data needs
• Design, Develop, test and support Integration of data to and from planning systems vs. business warehouse platforms
• Identifying data quality issues and work with related teams to solve them
• Monitor and Ask right questions in the project core team to ensure design guidelines, best practices in planning solutions are adhered to
• Broad understanding of end-to-end planning processes and clearly identify the scope for integrated planning across different planning platforms
• Flexibility to build planning solutions depending on business priorities (if required)

The Ideal Candidate:

• Bachelor, Master, PhD, or equivalent experience in a quantitative field (computer science, physics, mathematics, engineering, bioinformatics, etc.)
• 4-7 years of experience with SAP BW, HANA (must have)
• Knowledge of Fashion industry and Supply chain planning (Seasonal and Never out of stock)
• Knowledge of planning processes, submission / approval workflows, data locking, auditing, authorization concepts etc.
• Hands-on experience in creation of Hana views
• Hands-on experience with ADSO’s, Composite Providers, Data flows in BW 7.5
• Experience in programming languages like ABAP, FOX, SQL scripting
• Hands-on Experience with Blue Yonder is a plus
• Ability to coordinate with cross-functional team members
• Strong analytical & problem solving capabilities, as well as highly structured and organized
• Excellent written and spoken language skills in English, the ability to convey complex analysis results clearly and with conviction to all levels of stakeholders
• Know about Agile way of working
