ABOUT THE ROLE AND OUR TEAM:
This role will sit within our Brand Partnerships & Ads team with a focus on the International markets across UK,
Europe and LATAM. The Programmatic Sales Manager’s core objective is to generate quality revenue that
contributes towards the TKWW Global Advertising business. With a key focus on media agencies and client
direct relationships, you will effectively represent TKWW and our programmatic offering. You will use commercial
acumen and your deep understanding of our customers’ businesses to expand and shape our programmatic
offering which in turn will enable us to respond with work that exceeds their business objectives. You will be
responsible for defining our programmatic strategy in 2023 and beyond in order to accelerate our BP&A growth.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
● This is an outward facing role. You will be responsible for TKWW’s reputation within media agencies
and client direct. They will rely on you to have an unrivaled understanding of their programmatic
business, the clients they represent and their competitors, in turn making you one of their most trusted
and valued contacts.
● You will be the voice of the client in the room - with the knowledge of what they will buy, you will be
expected to lead our internal teams to deliver against their objectives, constantly challenging them to
push the boundaries and playing a key role in shaping new products and ideas.
● You will have a thorough understanding of the BP&A programmatic products and associated
parameters, so we never sell or suggest anything that we can’t deliver.
● You will have a clear understanding of our BP&A 3-5 year strategy and will use your relationships with
customers to test and trial new products.
● You will maintain an accurate and up-to-date pipeline to assist with revenue forecasting.
Account Management:
● You will always demonstrate a best in class customer experience by balancing their needs with those of
TKWW in order to deliver campaigns, strategies and activity plans that work brilliantly for all parties.
● You will develop and maintain strong relationships across your media agency and client direct portfolio,
also prioritising internal relationships, to ensure we win together.
● You will be an ambassador for TKWW and the commercial work we produce - sharing our case studies
and best in class work; we want our customers to have the same enthusiasm for our brand as we do.
● You will understand the commercials and contractual obligations on each account, within your remit,
and identify potential issues to help support with client contracts and billing.
● You will provide regular insights to clients detailing performance, campaign optimizations, and new
opportunities.
● Provide monthly auditing reports to Agency partners and actualize bill / pay systems when applicable.
Selling & Negotiation:
● You will be a confident and engaging presenter who has the ability to be agile and think on their feet.
● You will be a strong negotiator, managing internal and external needs to find the best solution for all
whilst always bearing in mind our 3-5 year strategic objectives.
● You will have the ability to build strategic customized plans to reach target audiences and deliver media
objectives.
● You will have an understanding of how to effectively negotiate at all stages of a deal to ensure we
deliver what we have committed to. Maintaining a balance between media and value whilst still offering
a compelling ROI to the client and not compromising our profitability.
● You will effectively adopt selling techniques according to market conditions and agency landscape.
● You will proactively develop presentations, reports, strategies and other documentation for clients - even
when they haven’t asked for it - to drive additional revenue opportunities through tactical approaches.
SUCCESSFULCANDIDATES HAVE:
● Minimum of 5 years relevant professional experience in a Digital Agency or Demand Side Platform.
● Customer facing experience with a proven track record of developing and maintaining long-term client
relationships both directly and through media agencies.
● Understanding of the advertising industries, including the challenges and ways to mitigate risk.
● Previous programmatic-focused management experience preferred.
● Expertise in display and video platform buying.
● Experience evaluating and onboarding third-party brand safety providers (e.g IAS, MOAT, DV)
● Excellent Account Management skills, with demonstrable experience of managing multiple stakeholders
internally and externally.
● Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment with a bias to action and a will to win.
● Confidence in writing and delivering presentations, proposals and strategies to multiple levels within an
organisation.
● Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) - fluent in English, professional proficiency.
● IT skills, including excel, and strong numerical skills.
● Fantastic attention to detail.
● An understanding of budget and resource restraints.
● A proactive and motivated self-starter who enjoys working as part of a team.
● Knowledge and experience of using G-Suite products and Salesforce is a plus but not required.
