QA Auditor

Job Description

The Team

You will a crucial team member of PVH Turkey Sourcing office. The QA Auditor will be responsible for all technical aspects related to the production of PVH Europe products. He/She will be overseeing the production facilities and help guiding them in producing excellent quality products that are meeting our technical quality requirement. You will be reporting into the Sr. QA Manager.

The Position

• Support and build strong working relationship for all technical and quality issues, between PVH Europe Division, Central Supply Chain dept. and Factory Management
• Monitor the technical product realization and improving of the quality level
• Participate or organize GMP Audits (Good Manufacturing Practices) at the Factories
• Work at vendors Inline to train & guide the production process according to our requirements
• Introduce our quality and workmanship standards to the vendor
• Effect Inline and Final Quality Control at the vendor/factory. All should be reported in the Quality Part of the VMS system (Vendor Managements System)
• Support in monitoring the production deadlines for sampling and bulk.
• Analyze defect issues and help to minimize the second choice percentage
• Support Corporate Responsibility when required

The Ideal Candidate

• Average 5 years working experience in quality / production, preferably in Denim /Knitwear
• Textile Engineer/Garment Education
• English is a must
• Computer knowledge with experience in MS Word, Excel , Outlook and digital reporting systems
• Lean Manufacturing knowledge
• Team player
• Product Person with extensive technical background in production and fit
• Willingness to travel in and outside Turkey
• Used to work under pressure with deadlines
• Ability to work with multi-cultural environment, international brands, multi-lingual, multi-time zone business partners, counter-parts
• Residence in Istanbul
• Being open to changes
