This position can be based in the WRI US office (DC) or can be fully remote where WRI is state registered with preference to EST time zone. Existing work authorization is required at the time of application submission for the position. WRI is unable to sponsor work authorization for this role.
About the Program:
WRI’s air quality program is a global initiative that seeks to identify, build awareness of, and eliminate the root causes of air pollution that damages climate, human, and ecosystem health. The program has three main areas of work: (i) engagement with city stakeholders to use participatory science to diagnose and develop targeted, cost-effective clean air solutions to protect human health and climate, (ii) working with the science community to convert innovative methods into tools and products that communities and policymakers can use to better manage their impact on the atmosphere, and (iii) working with national governments and business networks to design and implement broader regional-to-global air quality governance. It is a part of the WRI Ross Center on Sustainable Cities. This position will primarily support the Clean Air Catalyst project, a USAID-funded project, and will provide additional support to other air quality projects within the air quality program’s portfolio.
Job Highlight: You will support the efficient operation and growth of the Air Quality program, joining a team of experts actively engaged in helping cities and countries reduce emissions, rethink solutions to clean air, and leverage tools, analyses, and technical support to improve their air quality. You will support a variety of projects and activities in Latin America, Africa, and Southeast Asia. See specific job responsibilities below.
You will be supported by the Project Manager in carrying out your assigned duties and responsibilities.
You will report to the Senior Manager, Air Quality.

Potential Salary: $49,000-$60,000 Salary is commensurate with experience and other compensable factors. WRI offers a competitive remuneration and benefits package.
