Job Description

• Join the Braking Systems ECU Mechatronics Development Team in Kusterdingen as Project Manager! We develop and realize ECUs for the future of braking and vehicle dynamics (ESP, iBooster, IPB, DPB, BWA) within the midpower cluster. You lead an interdisciplinary project team from development, purchasing and manufacturing from different departments and locations worldwide.
• Your tasks include all project management tasks of the development process from acquisition support to series launch. For your product, you are responsible for requirements and specifications, quality, schedule, project budget and product costs. You coordinate with the Bosch internal development partner and you report to the relevant committees.
• Together with your team you solve challenges with the right technical depth in a systematic and solution-oriented way.
• You will improve our workflows in the product development process and project management by introducing database-supported, (semi-)automated tools.

Qualifications

• Education: completed university studies (master's degree/diploma/PhD) in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, physics or a comparable subject
• Personality and Working Practice: independent, initiative and entrepreneurial action, good technical comprehension, no fear of technical depth, problem solving skills (systematic analysis, options, driving decisions)
• Experience and Knowledge: know-how about joining technologies, plastic molding and PCBs; know-how about digitalization and software development desirable; perennial experience as a project engineer and/or project manager for a mechatronic product; project manager qualification (PMP® or PMI-ACP) and experience in the automotive environment desirable
• Languages: business fluent in written and spoken German and English
