Key Qualifications
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Protection, and Life Safety Systems.
- Minimum five years of experience leading an engineering team
- Expert knowledge in technical/engineering operations and asset management standard methodologies.
- Competence in building management system engineering
- Advanced knowledge of construction engineering technology, codes, standards, plans, plus an in-depth understanding of the interdependence of project areas.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to express ideas clearly and objectively, orally and in writing.
Description
Description Oversee day-to-day mechanical system operations across multiple buildings in Santa Clara Valley Serve as a subject matter expert for tenant building systems including fire/life safety, mechanical, plumbing, and electrical issues, as well as the latest HVAC technology trends. Support all facets of inspections and surveys, including energy audits, LEED surveys, HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems, and accessibility compliance. Develop specifications and assists in solicitation and administration of maintenance/repair service contracts. Analyze data and identifies replacement, repair, and maintenance challenges. Share opportunities with the team to research, test and measure, and improve facilities programs. Lead & mentor a team as they work through challenges and promote an environment that encourages them to continuously excel & improve.
Education & Experience
Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering preferred. LEED AP, Certified Energy Manager (CEM) and Certified Facility Manager (CFM) or similar preferred
