Summary:

The Associate Director, Oncology Advanced Analytics role is a part of the Insights & Analytics team within Commercial Operations. This role will collaborate with business partners, customer insights and data management teams to create sustainable advanced analytics solutions (including AI/ML) to solve complex unmet needs for our customers, influence decision-making at senior levels, drive revenue and share growth. This role will work on Odronextamab launch as well as other Oncology pipeline portfolios, as an individual contributor with proficient understanding of advanced analytics and RWE data, also working across functional teams to help bridge capability and knowledge gaps.

Job Duties:

• Provide advanced analytical solutions and thought leadership to the Oncology team, including machine learning and artificial intelligence that aligns with business opportunities.
• Support and lead integrated business planning initiative (including QBR, OBR, Brand Plan, Monthly AA meeting, forecasting discussion, etc.), and able to present analysis ideas, progress and results to internal business partners.
• Serves as an internal Oncology analytics subject matter expert to identify true business needs, propose potential analytics approaches for solutions, and develop analytic tools and methodology to track, report and analyze secondary data for brand/sales performance, dashboard harmonization, digital analytics and resource allocation.
• Lead the development of patient finder, next best action models and targeting for field force, NPP/Digital marketing and reimbursement management.
• Build out comprehensive analytics/insights for Odronextamab launch in NHL and Oncology pipeline assets in collaboration with customer insights team, competitive intelligence, data management, forecasting, market access, and HEOR teams.
• Create insightful reports and presentations that clearly identify and simplify the actionable insights combined with business implications, strategic and tactical options.
• Build Oncology patient cohorts, clarifying patient treatment journey and developing patient flow / demand forecasts. (e.g. deeper understanding of patient treatment journey, predictive targeting approaches, robust epidemiology patient flow models, etc.)
• Develop rich account level insights using account/patient level data sets (including segmentation and opportunity assessment).
• Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to coordinate cross-functional analysis and data acquisition.
• Assure compliance with regulatory, security, and privacy requirements as it relates to data assets.

Job requirements:

• BS/BA degree required. Advanced degree (e.g. PhD, MA, MS, MBA) preferred demonstrating applied advanced analytics.
• 7-10+ analytics years’ experience in pharmaceutical or biotechnology industries.
• Oncology working experience strongly preferred, Familiarity with pharma data sources (e.g. IQVIA, Symphony, etc.) or experience in advanced analytics/data sciences in leading industries.
• Commercial business intelligence tool report creation experience required (e.g. Tableau, Oracle BI, SAS, Databrick, Macros) preferred, SQL query-writing required.
• In-depth knowledge and data mining experience using secondary subnational prescription and sales data required. Experience with longitudinal patient, specialty pharmacy/hub data strongly preferred.
• Outstanding interpersonal relationship building and strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Knowledge of machine learning techniques (e.g. supervised, unsupervised, deep learning) and their real-world advantages and drawbacks is required.
• Expert in communication and presentation to take sophisticated analysis and apply a business context for non-analytical associates required.
• Excellent organization/planning skills and talent for handling many large and complex datasets.
