Summary of position: We are looking for a Demand Generation Marketing Manager to work out of our Tokyo office and drive the development and execution of marketing programs. You should have hands-on experience conceptualizing, developing, and performing customer-focused awareness and education strategies. This includes crafting and implementing a successful, data driven strategy with the intent to build brand awareness and drive revenue. Candidates should possess a strong understanding of B2B marketing, with a background in content strategy, and customer acquisition. You will develop and lead a comprehensive portfolio of campaigns for our Claris FileMaker platform. The campaigns will be crafted to cultivate, engage, and convert our prospects as well as drive adoption and cross-sell/up-sell for our existing customers. This is a player mentor role with the responsibility of managing a team while also being able to roll up your sleeves to build campaigns from scratch.

- 5+ years experience working in a B2B technology demand generation role.
- Expert team leader who knows how to build and inspire a high functioning team.
- Data-driven and technically fluent - You use data to improve decision making and have experience and comfort with a range of marketing tools to enhance impact.
- Customer-centric and driven by insights - You understand the customer journey, each influencer within the decision-making process, and demonstrate customer insights to design your campaigns.
- Strong communications skills with the ability to communicate across multiple teams and levels.
- Experience in developing email campaigns, eBooks, infographics, and sales tools.
- Experience in setting up and handling events and webinars.
- Skilled in Salesforce and Pardot (or similar Marketing Automation tool).
- Hands on experience with Google Ads, Yahoo, LinkedIn, and Eight.
- Essential Japanese speaker to communicate with partner's businesspeople and excellent Japanese writing skills to proofreading required.
- Ability to speak English required.
Description
Description - Advise a team of impactful marketers to develop and deploy demand generation assets and campaigns. - Using agile methodologies design and complete end-to-end programs that create demand and accelerate existing opportunities. - Measure and report campaign performance, rigorously A/B test, and optimize our communications across channels. - Partner closely across the organization to develop a coordinated strategy for both inbound and outbound lead generation. - Work with team to create webinar material, produce live events, and measure effectiveness. - Create and set up email and further campaigns in Pardot. - Work with agencies and team to develop eBooks, infographics, sales tools, print/digital ads, landing pages, white papers, case studies, and other marketing collateral. - Work with collaborators to define business requirements and translate them to functional requirements for new projects and deployments. - Work with team to develop marketing communications materials including press releases, customer success stories, testimonials, and partner interviews. - Handle and develop relationships with our community of Claris FileMaker Partners and developers including driving participation in our Japan Engage Conference. - Work with the Corporate Marketing team to implement localization of campaign materials for successful campaigns. - This role reports into the global Director of Demand Generation and is expected to collaborate closely with cross-functional - teams across the company, especially with the Corporate Marketing team predominantly located in the U.S.
