Spotify is extending our Agency development team dedicated to driving new and innovative strategic partnerships with our global holding company partners in Brazil! This team will showcase all the technological and data assets available to drive business goals for all holding companies and their clients on our platform. We are looking for an Agency Development Lead with a consistent record of partnership creation and leadership, trading and deal negotiation experience, senior agency relationships, as well as a deep interest and passion for digital media, music, podcasts and innovation. You are a senior leader with an established background in building creative, long-term consultative solutions, and innovative ways of working with agencies.
What You'll Do:
- Be the primary liaison, internal advocate and industry expert representing Spotify with a specific focus on key agency C-Level relationships, in partnership with Brazil sales leadership
- Identify Holding Company initiatives and areas of focus that align with Spotify solutions to drive scalable innovation, data activation, insights, research and audio engagement
- Own agency contact mapping, business reviews, education plans, joint research opportunities, innovation and creative workshops whilst delivering regular open communication across Brazil Holding Companies
- Partner closely with Brazil Head of Sales, Americas Trading Director and Global Agency Team to ensure strategic and commercial elements are driving towards our prioritized business goals
- Ensure dissemination of information to Spotify sales and relevant cross functional teams as well as fast effective white glove service response to agency partners
- Seek insights on revenue trends, spending patterns and new clients specific to our partner and report to global/regional/local sales. Proactively identify realignment, revenue opportunities and corrective measures as needed.
- Structure and develop a strategic Brazil Holding company narrative to drive growth and adoption of Spotify's portfolio of solutions in the context of our holding company partnerships
- Create and deliver, in collaboration with Brazil sales leads, Spotify education & inspiration focused programming that has a scaled impact on various constituents across holding company planning and innovation teams.
- Working in close collaboration with the Americas Trading Directorserve as a Spotify Brazil trading lead managing and implementing all holding company trading agreements. You will have a deep knowledge of various deal types, compliance requirements, internal systems, approvals processes, and provide mentorship and insights to the Brazil sales teams on further in-quarter and mid-term partnership opportunities
- Represent Spotify in the advertising community by seeking out and participating at industry events.
Who You Are:
- 10+ years of Brand Advertising, Media Planning and/or Brand development experience leading businesses or accounts
- Significant proven successful experience working in or with media & creative agencies
- Personal network in place with senior agency contacts across several agency groups and consistent track record of successfully growing revenue through the development of strategic relationships
- Strong understanding of Spotify user behavior, product and targeting suite & the ability to translate technical or complicated ideas into ordinary and simple terms
- Experience in working for matrix organizations & ability to win the support and drive deliverable timelines from key internal cross-functional stakeholders
- Passion for developing high-impact presentations and leading training programs for large audiences
- Responsibility for creation and delivery of Brazil holding company quarterly and annual business reviews
- Extensive trading experience and understanding of Brazil market dynamics
- Proven success in a highly dynamic, rapidly changing environment
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Based in São Paulo, Brazil
- Fluent Portuguese and English language, spoken and written is required
