Your tasks and responsibilities:
- You will have the unique opportunity to challenge and refine current region and country reward strategies in alignment with our global total rewards and HR strategy & principles.
- You will lead regional total rewards teams and selected global rewards business partners to provide first class support and consultancy to the respective business leaders.
- For our recent acquisition of Varian, a global cancer therapy leader with more than 11.000 employees globally, you will be leading the total rewards integration in your region Asia Pacific.
- For Compensation, you will be responsible to implement key global initiatives in your region, such as a new career framework, sustainability projects, our total rewards philosophy, new tools (i.e., Workday), or new bonus plans
- You will regionally steer and coordinate compensation activities, incl. market benchmarking, management of programs such as bonus, sales incentives, long-term incentive programs or recognition, and consult with business on compensation needs
- For Benefits & Pension, you will partner with the global team to execute global strategies for pensions, insurable employee benefits, or wellbeing, and you will be responsible to design and deliver benefits in your region
- For Mobility, you will support cross-country transfers, either short-term or long-term, by steering service providers, ensuring transparent data and communication to employees and management,
- You will design and implement communication and training activities for total rewards in your region
- You will partner with relevant stakeholders (e.g., HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, HR IT Workstream)
- Furthermore, you will partner with our business area or regional leadership in AP, serving as key account manager for (mainly) compensation related matters, incl. making recommendations to leadership on compensation programs and practices, incl. presentation of business cases
- You will lead and coordinate M&A activities (incl. carve-outs and integration) jointly with relevant HR M&A workstreams and Country, Zone and/or Regional HR teams
- You will ensure compliance with local/federal compensation requirements and statutes and act as point of escalation for your area of responsibility
- Coordinate & collaborate for SPM topics, provide insights & market intelligence for country HR Head via dashboard, e.g., gap with talent market
- Enable Total rewards team and HR BPs to more competent in TR function, enhance EVP from TR perspective
Your qualifications and experience:
- You have a (master’s) degree in business administration or a comparable discipline, ideally with a focus on HR or finance
- You have many years of relevant professional experience and a demonstrable track record as an HR professional in Compensation & Benefits in a multinational environment, with background from top-tier C&B consulting firm
- You have in-depth knowledge of all topics related to compensation and benefits especially with regard to Asia Pacific
- You have extensive experience in managing global teams in a complex working environment, and have outstanding leadership skills, stakeholder management skills
- You have experience in working in an international environment with cross-functional and cross-cultural teams, and managing a remote team successfully
- You have a proven track record in strategically developing global compensation & benefits concepts and programs and driving them to implementation
- You have experience in global mobility, incl. international assignments
- You have impressive project management and negotiation skills combined with extensive experience in managing large-scale international projects and a confident grasp of agile working methods
- You closely monitor current trends in the area of rewards, and can tailor forward-looking concepts to the needs of a multinational corporation
- You have organizational experience (cross units, regions and countries), especially in Asia Pacific labor markets

- You have a very good command of English in order to be able to operate successfully in our international context; knowledge of German / another language is desirable
- You have the ability to travel globally
