All interns will be given the choice to work remotely or relocate to the internship location. The company will cover relocation services and will provide a living student to supplement housing, utility, and office supply costs.

Player Profile

• Must be a current student pursuing their bachelors, masters, or PhD and graduating May 2023 or later.
• Available for a 12-week internship starting late May or late June.
• Can demonstrate strong artistic sensibilities, robust technical skills, and strong work ethic.
• Passionate about learning what it takes to be a successful artist in the video game industry.

Internship Opportunities

Environment Artist: Work closely with our team to help build compelling worlds that push the boundary of gameplay, art, and storytelling.

• Skilled in a traditional modelling package like 3DS Max or Maya.
• Experience with creating PBR materials with high quality textures and efficient UV’s.
• Strong sense of composition and layout.
• Enthusiasm for participating in the critique process and ability to execute on feedback.

Environment Artist – Remote Teams: With focus on creating 3d game environments, this position will teach you how to build compelling 3d environments in a creative environment working with and supporting a global team of artists.

• Good sense of composition and layout.
• Good knowledge of using Game Editors, such as Unreal or Unity.
• Interest in games, game-design and crafting FPS game environments.
• Enthusiasm for participating in the critique process and ability to execute on feedback.
• Good communicating skills with a strong interest in collaborating with other artists across the world.

Your Mission

• Work with artist and animators on one of Activision's award-winning franchises.
• Help make new characters, environments, concepts, animations, UI, and/or armor.
• Work closely with a mentor to improve technical skills, artistic sensibilities, and a strong work ethic.
