The team
Our Sales & Business Development teams collaborate with customers and partners across the globe to help them leverage the DocuSign Agreement Cloud to transform the entire system of agreement process—from preparing to signing, acting on, and managing contracts and other types of agreements. Our team’s partner with some of the largest, most innovative companies in the world in dozens of industries to bring the power of DocuSign to more customers. Whether you are selling to a small business or a large enterprise, you will apply your extensive knowledge of our solutions, and leverage our strategic partnerships to help our customers grow their top and bottom line.

This position
The Renewal Specialist is a high impact position combining equal parts relationship management, contract negotiation and client satisfaction. The Renewal Specialist will work with existing DocuSign customers, managing accounts across the Asia market to maintain their satisfaction and renewal of their next contract.

The incumbent is accountable for customer retention through the annual renewal process, proactive client management, forecast accuracy, and driving growth with customers in collaboration with internal teams and the broader DocuSign partner ecosystem.

This is an individual contributor reporting to the Senior Manager, Renewal ASIA and is designated Flex.

Responsibilities
● Retain and grow customer accounts with incremental commitment
● Develop and leverage relationships to improve customer retention
● Manage renewal process and negotiate multi-variable contracts
● Develop strategy to ensure assigned accounts are renewed on a timely manner
● Monitor outstanding renewals and develop a robust follow-up system
● Liaise with internal teams to ensure smooth processing of quotes and renewals
● Communicate risk to management and lead resolution strategies
● Deliver business reviews for customers on low adoption with a 1:1 engagement
● Be the principal point of contact for key customers and leverage on the internal resources to meet their requirements
● Act as the customer champion with consistency on areas of improvement and initiatives to retain our customers through better product and service output
● Provide accurate and timely forecasts on a periodic basis

Basic qualifications
● 3+ years of experience in B2B Account Management or Sales - Focused on customer renewals for run rate business

Preferred qualifications
● Experience in a sales capacity within the technology or software industry preferred
● Proven track record of success in managing a high-volume portfolio of accounts and over-achievement of quota in prior role.
● Ability to demonstrate a strategic mindset to enable persuasive value conversations with customers at an executive level
● Strong process management, financial acumen, and contractual engineering skills
● Ability to manage projects on renewal cycle with necessary resources
● Excellent communication and presentation skills
