Job Description

Job DescriptionWe are looking for a motivated individual with a strong understanding of physics, mathematics, optimization, or engineering to work with other experienced and highly motivated software engineers to help develop and improve our inverse lithography technology. The candidate must have C++ experience, preferably coding complex mathematical operations, and will bring their physics and math experiences to solve grid-based and edge-based optimization problems related to OPC. They will be responsible for developing new features, debugging and supporting the existing models, and providing new directions for enhancements to existing algorithms. Knowledge of gradients, convolutions, image processing, optimization, computational geometry, and GPU is a plus. This work will be performed with and supported by the computational lithography modeling group.Minimum Requirements:
  • BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience in C++ on UNIX and/or LINUX platforms.
  • Must have the ability to collaborate closely with other members of the team and develop critical components consistently and promptly.
Preferred Requirements:
  • Ph.D. or individuals who have demonstrated strong ownership culture of their previous responsibilities.
  • Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing / computational lithography.
  • Individuals with a strong ability to learn and explore new technologies and who can demonstrate good analysis and problem-solving skills.
  • Project-based experience
  • Experience with MATLAB, Tcl/Tk, and other scripting languages (Perl, python)
