What’s it all about?

The Global Cobrand and Merchant Partnership Development team is engaged across multiple functions within the Visa organization to bring the very best of Visa’s expertise and assets to our clients, to drive revenue growth while building trust and growing engagement and satisfaction among teammates, partners and clients.

The individual will be responsible for new co-brands implementation and performance optimization of existing co-brand portfolios in LAC markets, except Brazil. This role requires leadership, vision, and creativity to drive the expansion of Visa products and solutions leveraging the co-brand partnership.

Fluency in Visa’s merchant and issuance facing solutions as well as strong internal partnerships at a local, regional and global level will be critical for this position. The role will require you to pivot between stakeholders in the payment ecosystem including merchants, issuers and partners in order to deliver on the business goals. This role will report to the LAC Co-brand Head and dual report to MSA Mexico Head

The nitty gritty

So what do we expect of you, day to day?

Here’s a bit of a heads up:

  • Lead the implementation of new co-brand programs and the associated product value proposition to successful commercialization
  • Manage portfolio of assigned Co-brand partnerships across LAC markets. Identify new and ongoing requirements and optimize portfolios’ life cycle
  • Support day-to-day relationship and contract management for the assigned partners
  • Establish key co-brand portfolio indicators and manage portfolio/deal performance
  • Expand existing co-brand partnerships through cross selling of other Visa solutions and services. Partner with peers in other functional areas (e.g., marketing, analytics, risk, innovation) and across global regional teams to execute projects in ways that leverage the breadth and depth of Visa’s resources
  • Apply Visa and market co-brand program management best practices

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office two days a week, Tuesdays and Wednesdays with a general guidepost of being in the office 50percent of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

What we’re after...

  • 7+ years of experience in Payments industry
  • Deep experience in payment products (i.e. credit cards, pre-paid, etc), fluent in Co-brand business development and/or program management best practices along with implications for issuers, networks, and merchants
  • Co-brand experience managing a Co-brand portfolio P&L preferably across a variety of markets and relevant industries such as airline, retail, and ecommerce.
  • Strong executive presence
  • Proven ability negotiating business agreements
  • Ability to work independently and in collaboration with high level of success/achievement
  • Consultative selling skills
  • Analytical / reporting advanced skills
  • Fluent in Spanish and English, and Portuguese is a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Bachelor’s degree required MBA preferred
  • Strong collaborator The candidate must be an excellent collaborator and natural team player with strong influencing and interpersonal skills. The candidate will be having a desire to be a thought leader who can educate and inspire - both clients and teammates.
  • Communicator. The candidate must have command of a typical set of productivity and communication tools including email, PowerPoint, data visualization, collaboration, and salesforce.com. The candidate must be detailed-minded and self-sufficient in business communications, client and public presentations, business proposals.
