Job Description
SUMMARY:
The Director, Pro Skincare & Re-Nutriv Cabine will develop, lead, and manage spa/treatment room, at-counter and virtual skincare services globally to strengthen brand equity and enhance high-touch service. This position is responsible for leading the development of the new Estée Lauder Pro Skincare Team, creating, and maintaining programs and skincare application protocols targeted to the business needs of Estée Lauder and the individual global markets and will also oversee regional trainings, uniforms and supplies for Re-Nutriv Cabines and spa initiatives globally.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee all aspects of global treatment room and spa program, including creation of new protocols, training, reinforcement of global environment/setup standards and pricing structure.
- Develop new skincare application & experience protocols for treatment rooms/spas, at-counter and virtual services as needed, ensuring protocols are regionally relevant. Collaborate with Product Development and Global Marketing to understand new product launches and ongoing support of existing products, incorporating new products into existing protocols or creating new protocols as needed.
- Establish and implement supply, environment, comprehensive education, and staffing/hiring standards for treatment room/spa program globally to ensure consistency in level of service provided in-person or virtually; oversee global supply offering for treatment rooms.
- Lead the development of the Estée Lauder Pro Skincare team globally, providing guidelines to regions for recruiting and developing estheticians to the brand and conducting global & regional trainings to onboard & educate seasonally.
- Partner with Regional Education teams on training of local Facial Trainers, including in-person or virtual Regional Treatment Workshops and ongoing virtual skillset trainings for Estheticians.
- Partner with Global Education developers to ensure timely development and release of relevant video and digital education assets for Re-Nutriv Cabine, at-counter and virtual Expert and Esthetician service protocols.
- Research and recommend appropriate treatment tools, including application tools & treatment devices, working closely with Product Development to ensure global quality and consistency of Re-Nutriv Cabines.
- Lead the development of the development of Re-Nutriv Event protocols by collaborating with Global Retail Experience & ED of Consumer & Omnichannel Education. Lead internal alignment with key cross-functional partners and ensuring timely release of tools and protocols.
- Work closely with Global Marketing, Consumer Engagement and Global Online teams to ensure that treatment room, at-counter and virtual services are used to develop and drive business as needed and strengthen consumer engagement.
- Partner with all markets (domestic and global) to ensure Field treatment room/spa, at-counter and virtual services needs are met, acquire feedback on existing protocols and trainings and incorporate changes as necessary; communicate spa/treatment room programs and at counter and virtual services updates to Field Education and Sales.
- Partner with Regional Education teams to help identify key competitive trends in treatment room/spa, at-counter and virtual services and make appropriate recommendations for Estée Lauder.
- Travel to regions to train, coach, develop and assess Pro Skincare teams around the world.
- Partner with Regional Education teams in development of Regional Treatment Workshops including.
- Establishing meeting priorities, agenda, sourcing supplies and facilitation of meeting topics.
- Drive Virtual Selling for Estée Lauder Estheticians globally, leading by example through the development and maintenance of personal Estée Lauder branded accounts on Instagram & TikTok and participation in Global Campaign & Social content.
QualificationsQUALIFICATIONS:
- 7+ years of related experience; must be licensed Esthetician.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and organizational skills.
- Proven ability to self-manage, work in a fast-paced environment and work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong virtual service and selling skills, including comfort with livestream.
- Excellent customer service skills, professional attitude, flexibility and ability to handle change in a positive manner, strong team player.
- Computer skills including Microsoft Office, Power Point and Excel.
- Travel required (60%).
