Job Description

This role is hybrid remote with 40% in-office presence in Mount Prospect, Illinois.

Bosch Power Tools North America is seeking a Digital Operations Specialist to join our team. Be on the forefront with the Digital Business Touchpoints group as we connect with consumers through unique digital experiences to grow the Bosch Power Tools brand. The Digital Operations Specialist works in conjunction with Bosch Power Tools Marketing team to support ongoing marketing operations and develops, implements, launches, and supports new services and enhancements to boschtools.com. This position also supports end-user database management and collaborates with the Marketing team to identify emerging digital opportunities; executing strategy to gain market share within existing channels. The Digital Operations Specialist owns and operates a variety of digital tools to help manage our brand voice across all digital activities and channels, working closely with digital thought-leaders both internally (domestic and globally) and externally to maintain strategic brand direction and campaign execution.

Website Management & Operations

  • Day-to-day technical operations of the Bosch Power Tools website, managing web development projects and collaborating with internal and external partners to help enhance site user experience
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to define digital project scopes and timelines, documenting requirements and working with 3rd party partners to plan & execute development plans
  • Utilize site analytics to understand overall health of the site and lead changes as appropriate to meet site KPIs
  • Communicate website-related issues with internal and external teams, supporting solutions where needed
  • Support ongoing site-wide SEO efforts which includes content, on-page, off-page, and technical optimizations

UX (User Experience)/ Personalization

  • Drive Bosch personalization strategy, implementation, testing and optimization; Identify, recommend, and execute website improvements
  • Lead Bosch Brand web development projects and experience improvement work through agile methodology
  • Utilize A/B and multi-variant testing to continuously test and track the digital experience ensuring all touch points are optimized for the visitor.
  • Blend web analytics, user behavior and UX best practices to develop recommendations personalized digital end user experiences throughout the conversion funnel.

Marketing Automation

  • Establish data collection process and data flow through digital marketing ecosystem. Troubleshoot technology platform data flow issues. Connect digital and off-line data to technology platforms. Establishes, maintains, and organizes user data.
  • Develop and support automation of digital marketing campaigns including audience segmentation to understand target consumer behavior.
  • Consult, develop and assist in execution of B2C digital campaigns based upon outlined strategy and business goals.

Platform Management

  • Manage vendor communication and relationship for digital systems.
  • Stays up-to-date on competitor, industry and emerging digital tools and capabilities, identifying and evaluating additional tools that can increase the efficiency of our digital ecosystem.
  • Educate internal teams on new and existing digital platforms and tools and advocates best practices.
  • Support the Marketing team with digital audits, governance, and compliance related topics.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of digital marketing or web management experience.
  • Bachelors’ degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Communications or other relevant field.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, the ability manage multiple projects with time sense of urgency.
  • Proven track record of being proactive and solutions driven.
  • Ability to work autonomously while still being highly collaborative.
  • Excellent teamwork, communication, presentation and organization skills.
  • Intermediate skills in HTML and CSS
  • Proficient in web analytics tools (such as Google Analytics, SEMRush, etc.)
  • Basic understanding of web programming languages (such as Javascript, Ruby, PHP, NodeJS)
  • Experience working within event tracking platforms, particularly Tealium
  • Experience using the following applications: First Spirit, JIRA, Confluence, Optimizely, Google Analytics, SAP Marketing Cloud
  • Experience with marketing CRM, email marketing, tools, platforms, privacy regulations, and/or platform capabilities in a digital ecosystem.
  • Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen
