Account Executive SaaS- North America

We are looking for a Sales Account Executive as an individual contributor to join our small North American team to focus on driving our business. The person in this role will report through the SVP, Global Revenue and will be expected to shape and own the Sales strategy for their territory. We are comfortable with this role being based remotely but preference is for Eastern/Central timezones

Now is a really exciting to join Marin – we are experiencing rapid growth and our product portfolio is growing bigger and bigger. You will be selling our Marin1 solution and will be supported by an expert team - so you can focus on bringing in that new business!

Key Responsibilities will include:

  • Own your sales territory, identify key targets, prioritise prospects and engage at a senior level using a range of business development skills.
  • Work closely with Marketing/ Lead Gen to identify prospective clients and follow up with leads obtained by them
  • Implement a consistent methodology for winning new business and particular key target clients
  • Consistently achieve a monthly, quarterly and yearly quota
  • Manage the sales cycle and present the full product portfolio at a consistently high level and standard both face to face and via the web at all times
  • Monitor post-sale and on boarding stages, provide an effective handover of the client to Client Services and Professional Services teams as well as all necessary internal stakeholders

Ideal experience for this role:

  • Experience working in a New Business Sales role focused roles with enterprise level accounts, and experience in SEM or SAAS would be a massive plus.
  • Proven outstanding track record in meeting and exceeding goals and sales targets
  • Experience selling to clients direct of a senior level, and experience selling to C-Level executives would be a plus
  • Ability to collaborate with internal stakeholders across all areas of the business
  • Technically minded, with a consultative approach to sales, strong relationship building skills, highly target driven, and able to work in a flexible environment
  • Exceptional communication skills and presenting skills
  • Naturally hard working and inquisitive, with a passion and drive to overachieve
