About the role

Roku, the innovative streaming company, is looking for a Workplace Services Coordinator to assist with our new Cardiff office.

We need someone who is proactive and confident in their own ability, with an eye for detail. Someone who expects the unexpected and will have the ability to have fun in this fast-paced environment.

What you’ll be doing

• Deliver a continuous exceptional workplace experience (including office presentation and snack provision) for the office
• Point of contact for Workplace Services - proactively raising, and resolving where applicable, front line workplace issues through an online ticketing system and communicate status updates effectively
• Liaise with building manager on building issues
• Vendor management
• Assist with deliveries to and from the office
• Welcome people to the office and reception
• Be part of the response team for emergency situations ranging from equipment failures to health and safety incidents and evacuations.
• Inspect facilities to ensure local and state regulatory compliance
• Be flexible in taking on other duties required by the Regional Workplace Services Manager.

We’re excited if you have:

• 3 years plus experience in a similar role
• Ability to multi-task and quickly assess situations to determine required action and/or response.
• Efficient team spirit that engages, supports, and encourages colleagues and drives toward a cooperative, cohesive team dynamic.
• Highly self-motivated, persistent, dependable, and self-sufficient.
• Outstanding communication skills with excellent spoken and written English, ensuring accurate information is conveyed, relevant to the audience.
• Strong networking skills, building robust relationships throughout the organisation
• Proficiency and efficiency across Microsoft Office applications especially Excel, Word, SharePoint and Outlook, along with a preference for working electronically over hardcopy.
• Ability to work to deadlines and prioritise workload, while maintaining attention to detail.
• Discretion in handling confidential and sensitive information.
