About The Role We’re searching for a Senior Product Manager to lead our SEO team and develop tools to help Crunchbase continue to grow and scale. You’ll provide in-house SEO expertise and work cross-functionally with engineers, user experience teams, analytics, and marketing to implement a roadmap for this new team. You’ll own our team's strategy, roadmap development, and execution!
What You'll Do:
- Own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the SEO team
- Become the product champion and expert for SEO at Crunchbase
- Understand the competitive landscape and evaluate SEO market trends to direct the product roadmap
- Drive SEO performance analyses and monitoring
- Collaborate with scrum teams and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure SEO compliance and best practices across our products
- Develop opportunities for our product(s) to better serve customer and search engine bot needs through research and analytics. Define stories, requirements, and specs
- Get cross-functional teams including Engineering, Design, Marketing, Customer Success, Sales, and other PMs aligned and passionate about the roadmap and direction
- Continuously evaluate product-market fit, identify technical dependencies, and perform external benchmarking
What We're Looking For:
- You’ve worked on SEO as a core product and have implemented features and content to improve SEO at a large scale
- You have previous experience in SEO and a deep understanding of search engines and indexing
- You have a successful track record of building great experiences that benefit both users and search engines
- You can strategically assess new opportunities, build alignment around these initiatives, and efficiently assemble qualitative and quantitative data to make your case
- Ability to collaborate with both internal partners and external prospects/customers, and synthesize their feedback
- A deep curiosity in understanding the why, and excited to dig into the details to find the answer
- You are comfortable independently developing and implementing recommended approaches to sophisticated or ambiguous problems while making thoughtful trade-offs
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present technical information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences
- A strong desire to hone your product management skills
