Job Description

KPMG is currently seeking an Associate/Senior Associate in Risk & Compliance & Forensics for our Consulting practice.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in executing client engagements including operational, risk and financial aspects
  • Participate and/or supervise Forensic Technology projects
  • Coordinate with interdepartmental resources to ensure completion of project tasks on schedule
  • Assist with forensic investigations and provide advice to clients related to allegations, strategy, evidence, conclusions and remediation
  • Conduct research, develop procedures and draft content related to investigative processes, techniques and evidentiary artifacts
  • Identify and lead processes and quality improvement initiatives including post-project analysis

Additional Senior Associate Responsibilities:

  • Supervise associates and related staff on engagements
  • Assists clients with designing and defining target state technology operating models, gap assessments and transformation plans
  • Identify and communicate technical matters to both clients and upper management

Qualifications:

  • Minimum one year of recent relevant work experience with computer forensic software and hardware
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university or equivalent related work experience
  • Proficiency in forensic and eDiscovery methodology with ability to collect, preserve and analyze electronic data from various sources; experience with industry standard forensic tools such as EnCase, FTK, Axiom and Cellebrite; experience in the following a plus: eDiscovery platforms such as Relativity and Brainspace, M365 and eDiscovery Premier, Mobile forensics, MAC forensics, Data analytics platforms and proficiency in SQL, and Programming language skills (VBA, javascript, powershell, C#)
  • Strong commitment to client services delivery; highly organized and detailed oriented; flexible and capable of managing multiple and shifting priorities
  • Ability to travel as required per need of client
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future

Additional Senior Associate Qualifications

  • Minimum three years of recent relevant work experience with computer forensic software and hardware
  • Demonstrated supervisory experience, well-established understanding of business dynamics and operations
