Location: Eberbach ((Hybrid)

As the CEAG Finance Lead, you will have a dual responsibility.

From a Finance perspective you will operate as a key business partner to the CEAG Business to ensure growth and profitability of the Operation and Business, safeguard the assets of the corporation, maintain the integrity of the Financials and ensure compliance with all Corporate and GAAP policies.

From a legal perspective, you will also function as Managing director for our legal entity and you will report directly into the Finance Director EMEA Crouse-Hinds, B-Line, Oil & Gas Business.

Your focus as the CEAG Finance Lead will be on operational performance and commercial data insight along with creating, promoting and sustaining a high performance culture in the local BU Finance team.

Essential Functions

  • Partner with Business Unit (BU) and Regional Leaders to deploy the company’s strategic objectives, through providing accurate and relevant management information, sound financial and business advice and a strong Operations and Commercial finance skill set.
  • Establish and execute business improvement opportunities / cost efficiencies to maximize key business performance measure; revenue growth, EBT, cash flow and working capital efficiency for Operations and Commercial.
  • Full understanding of Operations processes, associated standard cost and variance analysis in a production environment.
  • Lead and develop the Local BU Controlling team by building organizational capabilities within Finance Function to continuously raise the performance bar for the finance organization.
  • Work closely and proactively with EMEA FP&A to develop, implement standard models and strong financial analysis delivering high quality data, and effectively leverage functional and cross-functional resources.
  • Proactively drive BU’s Financial cadences with variance analysis including root courses, mitigating actions and support execution with relevant stakeholders. Have a constant overview of the MTD performance and Latest Estimate vs FCST.
  • Proactively drive continuous improvements in financial and business practices, ensure internal controls, compliance and integrity of the financial data and information including supervision of the Shared Service Centre Accounting & Tax.
Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting from an accredited institution
  • Comprehensive experience in Finance with a strong Accounting background
  • Profound understanding of and experience in Manufacturing environment, proactively working as a Business Partner to Operations
  • Fluent English and German skills
  • Experience with complex Matrix organizations, Shared Service Centers and working with Regional/Division HQ required
  • Strong capability and knowledge of working with SAP (or similiar), consolidation systems and Dataware houses.
  • Proven strong Leadership skills with focus on continues improvement and team development.
  • Strong analytical skills, with attention to detail with a pragmatic approach; ability to see the wider financial impact without getting stuck in detailed.
  • Excellent ability to persuade and positively influence others at all levels within the organization.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills combined with an inquisitive and detailed approach to finance.
  • Comfortable with dynamic environment where priorities shift and flexible work schedule
  • Individual with energy, stamina and passion for driving efficiency and demonstrates a strong organizational skill set with a great work ethic.

Preferred:

  • MBA
  • experience in dealing with internal and external committees
