Lockheed Martin Aeronautics in Fort Worth, Texas is seeking a Research Scientist (Signature) – Intern. In this role, you will perform component and air vehicle level Radar Cross Section (RCS) test and evaluation execution and production line and field non-conformance disposition coordination for Signature Integration Team. Additionally, the qualified candidate will be trained to utilize Radio Frequency Special test equipment on site at Fort Worth, at US sites and at international locations. US and International travel possible. Although normal shift hours are specified, periodic weekend and alternate shift work flexibility is required to support production line and field operations. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of Matlab to support this role.
Must be a US citizen or able to work in the U.S. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Basic Qualifications:
Pursuing a degree from an accredited college in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or other related technical field.
Matlab experience.
Experience with Windows/Linux/Unix and MS Office.
Entry level Low Observables experience desired.
CAD/CAM experience desired.
Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Desired Skills:
Strong communication skills.
Experience working on projects or programs in a team setting.
Demonstrated community services participation.
Statistical/Numerical analysis experience desired.
