About this role

The Aladdin Client Engagement (ACE) team manages the partnerships formed with each BlackRock Solutions client. ACE is the trusted advisor, problem solver and business partner to Aladdin clients. They are the key point of contact and are charged with driving and deepening the relationship over time. The ACE is highly focused on understanding the needs and evolving priorities of client organizations and on providing investment process solutions that leverage the capabilities of the entire BlackRock Solutions organization.

PURPOSE AND SCOPE

The ACE team is actively seeking an Associate to help manage a set of high-profile sophisticated clients in the Insurance/Banking sectors and Official Institutions

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Understand client objectives and goals paired with strong emotional ownership to deliver on solutions utilizing Aladdin capabilities
• Engage the client's key stakeholders and provide strong leadership for the Aladdin relationship and broader firm-wide relationship as appropriate
  • Own relationships with client teams including senior management (e.g. Head of Trading, Ops) to understand their business objectives and needs
• Ensure clients are taking full advantage of Aladdin’s capabilities through the deployment of new product offerings/new workflow deployments based on business process redesign discussions and analyzing client usage metrics
• Work closely with the client and Aladdin Product Managers to influence the strategic enhancement of our platform as well as to support client development needs
• Actively manage client communications in regard to Aladdin product changes and improvements, including release notes, deliverables, and announcements
• Aid in developing client servicing processes to make the ACE model more efficient
• Develop strong relationships within BlackRock Solutions and BlackRock to ensure the best client experience
• Work with Aladdin Business Development to expand our business

QUALIFICATIONS

• Over 3-5 years of relevant experience in the financial industry, preferably investment management /investment operations experience such as executing and/or supporting order management, trading and middle office experiences that may include;
  • Order management, execution management
  • Trade operations and trade reporting
  • Position and cash management including corporate action management
  • Risk, exposure and return reporting and investment guideline monitoring
  • Data management
• Have strong technology/analytical skills including SQL / programming is a plus
• Familiarity with equity, fixed income and derivative products as well as buy-side investment management workflows
• Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts simply and clearly to clients
• Ambitious approach to large, complex projects, with a flair for problem solving. Strong analytical skills to solve complex problems.
• Native level business Japanese language skills as well as business level English language skill.
• Passion and curiosity to learn wide range knowledge continuously.
• Keen client-focused spirit and team player
• Self-starter who enjoys a fast-paced, high-intensity environment and works well as part of a multi-disciplinary global team
• Proficient in market and industry trends
