Eaton’s Electrical Engineering Services & Systems division is currently seeking a Senior Electrical Project Manager to join our team. This position can be based from one of our following locations: Moon Twp, PA; Warrendale, PA; Boothwyn, PA; Windsor, CT; Lewiston, ME; Mountainside, NJ; Franklin, MA; Hanover, MD; East Syracuse, NY; Clifton Park, NY; Sandston, VA; Manassas, VA; Bridgeport, WV; Beaver, WV.

Position Overview:

The Lead Project Manager (LPM) is responsible for the overall management and execution of multiple Design Build projects. The LPM is charged with supporting the sales force and regional manager during the front-end sales process to ensure a seamless transition from quote into execution. The purpose of this position is to provide project management expertise in electrical, civil, structural and mechanical aspects of large, Design Build, Microgrid and Distributed Generation Projects.

In this function you will:

• Knowledge and understanding of Design Build Projects and Process
• Knowledge and understanding of Construction Process
• Knowledge and understanding of design concepts through final engineering
• Ability to integrate systems and manage a cross-functional work group through standard project process and procedures.
• Construction estimating and sales support
• Contract and subcontract knowledge and experience
• Ability to implement project financial controls
• Responsibility for project profit, loss, and forecast
• Knowledge and skills to manage project scope changes
• Ability to develop and maintain project schedules
• Ability to work with and manage design teams
• Ability to improve subcontractor inefficiencies
• Ability to manage subcontractor budgets
• Ability to set up and manage subcontractor agreements and SOV
• Ability to manage safe work environment and program which includes but not limited to job site safety analysis, rigging plans, environmental risk planning, job audits, confined space programs and lock and tag procedures.
• Ability to create and maintain project QA/QC process
• Contingency planning expertise and knowledge
• Ability to support and manage multiple projects
• Document control experience and expertise

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

• BS or AS in civil, structural, mechanical or electrical engineering from an accredited institution
• Minimum of Ten (10) years of project management experience
• Must be able to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
• Must reside within a 50 mile radius of the work location(s) listed. No relocation is being offered for this role.

Preferred qualifications:

• Professional Engineer qualification
• Working knowledge of NERC/FERC, NESC, NEC, ANSI, NETA
• PMP Certified
• Experience with Microsoft Project or Primavera Scheduling software
• OSHA 30 Certification
• First Aid and CPR Trained

Position Criteria:

• Successfully complete and maintain compliance with Eaton's safety program and policies
• Periodically submit to drug/background screens as required by customers for on-site work
• Strong Computer Skills - Excel, Word, PowerPoint
• Ability to self-motivate and work autonomously on personal goals & objectives
